Welcome to Dove. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Dove app and website.
By using Dove, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Dove Is
Dove is a Christian AI companion designed for prayer, reflection, devotional support, spiritual encouragement, scripture-related exploration, and daily faith habits.
Dove may include AI chat, devotionals, quests, streaks, personalization, premium content, and subscription features.
2. What Dove Is Not
Dove is not a church, pastor, priest, minister, licensed counselor, therapist, medical provider, legal advisor, financial advisor, or emergency service.
Dove does not provide medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
Dove should not be used as a substitute for professional help, pastoral care, emergency assistance, or trusted human support.
If you are in danger, experiencing a crisis, or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, contact emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately.
3. AI-Generated Content
Dove uses artificial intelligence to generate responses.
AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, or not suitable for your situation.
You are responsible for evaluating any information, scripture discussion, encouragement, suggestions, or guidance provided by Dove.
Dove may not always reflect every Christian tradition, denomination, interpretation, or belief system.
4. Spiritual Content
Dove may provide scripture references, devotional reflections, prayer prompts, and Christian encouragement.
This content is for general spiritual reflection and personal growth. It should not replace scripture study, church community, pastoral guidance, or professional support when needed.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use Dove for illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, exploitative, or violent purposes
- Attempt to bypass safety systems
- Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or interfere with Dove
- Upload malware or harmful code
- Use Dove to generate content that violates laws or the rights of others
- Misrepresent Dove’s responses as professional advice
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if we believe the app is being misused.
6. Subscriptions
Dove may offer paid subscriptions, including Dove Plus.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple’s App Store. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled according to Apple’s terms and App Store subscription settings.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
Subscription features, prices, and availability may change over time.
7. Refunds
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Dove does not directly process App Store refunds.
8. Premium Features
Dove Plus may include features such as expanded chats, deeper personalization, premium content, quests, memory-related features, or other advanced experiences.
We may add, change, limit, or remove features over time.
9. Accounts and Access
Some features may require an account, internet connection, active subscription, or supported device.
You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and device.
10. Intellectual Property
Dove, including its name, design, artwork, characters, app experience, features, code, text, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reuse Dove’s materials without permission.
11. Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue Dove or any part of Dove at any time.
We may also change these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Dove after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Disclaimers
Dove is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee that Dove will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, secure, or always available.
We do not guarantee any spiritual, emotional, personal, or practical outcome from using Dove.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of Dove.
